About Varoujan Avedikian

Varoujan Avedikian is the managing partner of Andersen Legal Armenia, with over 20 years’ experience in banking, capital markets, insurance law and financial regulation. Formerly general counsel of the Central Bank of Armenia, he led major financial sector reforms and co-authored numerous key legislative acts. His expertise spans corporate, commercial and financial transactions, M&A and private equity. A holder of ecoDa’s European Board Diploma, he has been recognised by international legal directories as a highly regarded lawyer and lectures in business and financial law at the AUA. Varoujan is the author of the “Law of Business” textbook, which is the first ever English textbook covering both Armenian legislation and international best practice.
