About Álvaro Jara Burotto

Álvaro Jara Burotto is an attorney at Vásquez Urra Abogados who specialises in construction and infrastructure, commercial arbitration and international law. He dvises clients on contract drafting, administration and strategic management for engineering, energy and infrastructure projects in Chile and across Central America. His experience in both contract management and dispute resolution enables him to provide strategic advice throughout the lifecycle of complex construction projects, from contract negotiation to arbitration. He has served as secretary to arbitral tribunals in arbitrations administered by CAM Santiago, and he is also professor of Private International Law and International Dispute Resolution.
