About Jason Weinstein

Jason Weinstein is a partner at Steptoe & Johnson and co-chair of the firm’s blockchain and cryptocurrency practice and the investigations and white-collar defence practice. With 15 years of experience in senior positions at the Department of Justice, he helps corporations and boards successfully navigate challenging government enforcement matters, and defends individuals in criminal investigations and prosecutions. Jason is widely recognised for his command of legal and regulatory issues involving digital assets and blockchain technology. He helped launch and serves as director of the Blockchain Alliance. He also serves on the strategic advisory board of Bitfury, and on the advisory boards of the Chamber of Digital Commerce and Coin Center.
