About Julie Vasseur

Julie Vasseur joined Intuity as an associate in 2015. Previously, she had several opportunities to acquire experience in the healthcare sector; prior to joining Intuity, Julie was a research assistant at McGill, where she organised conferences for the McGill Research Group on Health and Law. She also worked in an international pharmaceutical company, where she drafted, reviewed and negotiated contracts, declared data to the French Data Protection Authority (CNIL) and advised the various business units in healthcare regulatory law through meetings and position papers. She has solid expertise in the regulatory and competitive positioning of pharmaceutical firms, as well as in their judicial and administrative defense against complaints involving allegedly defective products. Julie gives classes (with Christophe Hénin) on intellectual property and competition issues in the 'Registration and economics of pharmaceuticals and other health products' learning module in the Faculty of Pharmacy of Chatenay-Malabry. Her key practice areas are: regulatory/market access, competition/distribution, product liability, data protection/electronic communication, and civil/commercial/criminal litigation.
