About Jonathan W Blythe

Jonathan W Blythe is a founding partner of Senguler & Partners (formerly Senguler & Senguler) and has over 30 years’ experience in the Turkish legal market. Jonathan is fluent in Turkish, a qualified Scottish and English solicitor, with an MA (Law) from Istanbul. Clients include industrial, IT telecoms, banking, retail and service industry household names. Although not originally a litigator, Jonathan was sought out by the ICC to sit as an arbitrator in a mixed-party arbitration requiring a Turkish-speaking English lawyer who was not Turkish. This developed into a significant arbitration practice where Jonathan now acts as arbitrator and counsel in international arbitrations including ICC and ISTAC cases.
