About Elly Obegi

Elly Obegi is a senior associate at Oraro & Company Advocates, specialising in commercial litigation, arbitration and tax. With over seven years’ experience from top-tier African law firms and a Big 4 accounting firm, he has handled significant cases, including successfully acting for Catalyst Principal Partners in a USD17 million post-merger London Court of International Arbitration proceedings, and subsequent enforcement proceedings before the Kenyan High Court and Court of Appeal. Elly holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Nairobi, a post-graduate diploma in law from the Kenya School of Law, and is a registered tax agent and part-qualified accountant.
