About George Yu

George Yu has 25 years of legal experience in Mainland China, Hong Kong and New York, and has focused his practice on cross-border financial and insurance work for the past ten years and more. He has provided legal services to many large financial and insurance groups from Europe, the United States and elsewhere. As co-head of JT&N’s insurance practice, he has extensive experience in P&C, life insurance and reinsurance transactions and regulatory matters, assisting clients with matters such as greenfield investment applications, joint ventures, M&A and restructuring, insurance asset investment and management, corporate governance and daily compliance.
