About John Bolin

John Bolin is a senior international counsel, Mr Bolin’s practice focuses on M&A, capital markets and general corporate representations, including representation of public and private companies in mergers, stock and asset acquisitions, and representation of underwriters and companies in connection with IPOs and other capital markets-related transactions, as well as with respect to corporate governance, and general corporate matters. His practice also includes a wide range of transactional, compliance and regulatory matters, with a focus on the financial service sector, including the insurance industry, cross-border data security and personal information compliance matters. Before joining JT&N, Mr Bolin practised corporate and securities law in New York and Hong Kong. Prior to attending law school in 2000, John served as a US Navy surface warfare officer, attaining the rank of commander. Mr Bolin earned his Juris Doctor degree from Duke Law School and is a member of the New York Bar.
