About Ahmed Al-Janabi

Ahmed Al-Janabi is the managing partner in the Baghdad office of AMERELLER and head of the Iraq practice. He is consistently recognised for his expertise in oil and gas. Over the last 15 years, he has advised numerous international clients on high-profile matters in Iraq. He advises primarily on corporate and commercial law, labour law, dispute resolution, M&A and project finance. Ahmed joined the firm in 2007 and became a partner in 2012. He was admitted to the Iraqi Bar in 2007. He is also a member of the Iraqi Jurists Association and the Iraqi Translators Association.
