Albert Boy Situmorang is a partner in Assegaf Hamzah & Partners’ competition and antitrust practice group. Since joining the firm in 2014, he has advised clients on a broad spectrum of adversarial and non-adversarial competition law matters, including vertical restriction, cartel and merger control issues. He has advised clients and made representation in merger filings for firms operating across a variety of industries, including mining, flat glass, chemicals, cement, transport, media, automotive, e-commerce, ride-hailing, fintech, online travel, packaging, heavy machinery, and energy. Albert also has a comprehensive understanding of halal regulations and is trained in the halal certification process in Indonesia, including the implementation of the halal product assurance system in businesses.
