About Joseph Jalasi

Joseph Jalasi is the head of the tax, mining, corporate, and banking and finance departments at ESJL. He has several years of experience in litigation and has held various public offices. He is a founding partner of the firm. The many reported cases to his credit in Zambian law reports are sufficient testimony to his expertise. Joseph served as Chief Policy Analyst Legal Affairs at the State House under the late President Levy Mwanawasa. He also served as a legal adviser to former President Rupiah Banda. Joseph is a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and the Zambia Association of Arbitrators, and he has been involved in arbitral proceedings both as an advocate and an arbitrator.
