About Román Cantín

Román Cantín has been a senior associate in the M&A department of Deloitte Abogados y Asesores Tributarios since June 2025 and has over seven years of professional expertise. He specialises in national and cross-border M&A and private equity (PE) transactions (both share and asset deals), and in corporate restructurings. He advises domestic and international PE firms on acquisitions and divestments, overseeing due diligence processes and the drafting and negotiation of related legal documentation, and providing advice on PE matters. Román holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Master’s in Legal Practice from UB, as well as a Master’s in Business Law from ICAB. He is a member of the Barcelona Bar Association.
