About Roman Světnický

Roman Světnický is a managing associate at HAVEL & PARTNERS, specialising in competition law. He provides legal advice on cartels, abuse of dominance, assessment of mergers and acquisitions (including foreign investment review), state aid and abuse of significant market power. Roman has represented many leading companies in proceedings before the Czech competition authority and administrative courts. He also assists with the analysis of clients' planned projects in terms of their compliance with competition law. Roman is a member of the Czech Bar Association and is also largely engaged in competition law trainings and compliance, including antitrust audits.
