About Ki Il Ban

Ki Il Ban is a partner at Jipyong LLC. He is a regional legal expert with many years of experience in South-East Asia, advising Korean conglomerates and financial institutions on M&A, joint ventures, project financing and regulatory compliance. He played a key role in pioneering Cambodia’s securities market, advising the lead manager in the IPOs of Phnom Penh Water Supply Authority, Phnom Penh Autonomous Port and ACLEDA Bank. He also leads Jipyong’s Thailand, Lao PDR, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Australia and New Zealand practice teams. Ki Il holds an LLB from Victoria University of Wellington and an LLM from Sydney Law School.
