About Raul Kartsep

Raul Kartsep is a senior associate in Sorainen’s International Arbitration subgroup with eight years of experience working alongside Maria Pihlak and Carri Ginter. He has experience under various arbitral rules and recently acted as lead counsel in proceedings under ECCI and UNCITRAL ad hoc rules. Raul is a founding member of the Estonian Arbitration Association and a recognised expert concerning the annulment of arbitral awards in Estonia. He lectures on the law of obligations at Tartu University and regularly teaches arbitration at both Tartu and Tallinn Technical University (TalTech). Recently, he trained members of the Estonian Bar Association in arbitration.
