Bernardo Reyes Retana is a financial lawyer with over 20 years’ experience in both private and public offerings of securities in Mexico and abroad. He advises issuers, investors, underwriters, holders (such as retirement fund managers – AFORES), intermediaries, rating agencies and consulting firms, including in the offering of corporate bonds, government securities offerings, development capital certificates, real estate investment trusts (FIBRAs), energy and infrastructure investment trusts (FIBRAs E), securitisations of various types of assets, and ESG bonds. He also has experience in complex domestic and cross-border transactions (mostly related to financing and structured finance) as well as in joint ventures, strategic alliances, corporate restructurings, and M&A in highly regulated sectors and industries.
