About Bernardo Reyes Retana

Bernardo Reyes Retana is a partner at Gonzalez Calvillo, with more than 20 years’ experience of representing local and foreign clients in complex corporate, M&A, joint ventures, corporate and structured finance, banking, regulatory, capital markets/securities matters and ESG financing. Bernardo regularly represents and advises financial entities such as private and public banking institutions on financial regulatory matters in Mexico and has collaborated with private and public entities in the implementation of some of the most relevant and recent legal reforms to the Mexican securities and mutual funds markets. Bernardo holds a law degree from Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City, as well as an LLM from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School.
