About Luis Mancera

Luis Mancera is a partner at González Calvillo and leads the compliance (including anti-corruption and anti-money laundering), administrative, constitutional and financial regulation practices at the firm. He has held various high-level positions in the public and private sectors, serving as general counsel as well as chief of the Banking and Savings Unit at the Ministry of Finance. He was Mexico’s representative to FATF and supervised the Financial Intelligence Unit. He was a member of the governing bodies of the National Banking Commission (CNBV), National Insurance and Bonding Commission (CNSF), Bank Savings Protection Institute (IPAB) and National Retirement Savings Commission (CONSAR).
