About Barry Werbin

Barry Werbin is a counsel in Herrick’s intellectual property and technology group and a member of the firm’s sports law group. Barry counsels clients in the sports industry on IP-related litigation and transactional matters, including trade mark protection and registration, copyright and trademark infringement, rights of publicity counselling, content management and licensing, e-commerce-related issues, sponsorship and marketing agreements, and IP due diligence for M&A, asset purchase and joint venture deals. He was the prior chair of the NYS Bar Association’s Entertainment, Arts & Sports Law Section and is on its executive committee. Barry is also a trustee of the Copyright Society of the USA.
