About Oliver Belitz

Oliver Belitz is based in Bird&Bird’s German Frankfurt office, where he specialises in IT and emerging technology legal advice. His expertise includes drafting, reviewing and negotiating complex IT contracts, ensuring compliance with financial sector outsourcing regulations and resolving IT disputes relating to performance issues. Oliver has a keen interest in the legal aspects of (generative) AI, advising companies on developing legally compliant AI solutions, and preparing for key regulations such as the EU AI Act. He is also interested in the legal aspects of the video game industry and actively contributes to the integration of new technologies into the firm’s legal services (legal tech).
