Eran’s main field of expertise is litigation concerning intellectual property rights (patents, patent term extensions, plant breeders’ rights, copyright, trade secrets, trade marks and designs), unjust enrichment and competition law, as well as complex litigation, particularly involving issues of technology and management of multi-jurisdictional IP matters. He has vast experience before Israeli courts at all levels, and before the Patents, Designs, and Trade Marks Registrar. Eran is often involved in the legislative process in the Israeli Parliament (Knesset), and has been involved in every amendment to the Patents Act over the last two decades.
