Tamar Morag Sela
is a seasoned professional who guides clients – ranging from start-ups to multinational corporations – on patent strategies and screening, in addition to managing international application drafting and prosecution. She specialises in sustainability-focused patents, spanning foodtech, agrotech, water treatment, and plant development. Heading Reinhold Cohn Group’s plant breeders’ rights department, Tamar excels in protecting new plant varieties. Her expertise extends to drug delivery ‒ notably, lipid-, liposome- and polymer-based systems. As well as leading on IP for technology business incubators, Tamar was 2021 president of the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI) in Israel and contributes to the AIPPI’s standing committee on IP and green technology.
