is a counsel at ELIG Gürkaynak Attorneys-at-Law. Ms Can joined ELIG Gürkaynak in February 2018 following three years as an associate at the Brussels office of one of the top international law firms as a competition lawyer, after more than five years of work at the Turkish Competition Authority as a competition expert. During her years at the Turkish Competition Authority, Ms Can took part in leading antitrust and merger cases concerning banking, finance, motor vehicle and transportation sectors, contributed to the preparation of secondary legislation for competition law and several International Competition Network projects. She received an LL.M. degree from Harvard Law School in 2014 and a master’s degree in commercial law from Gazi University in 2013. Ms Can graduated from Ankara University, Faculty of Law in 2008. She is a member of the New York Bar.
