is a consultant who graduated from the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM), Santo Domingo. She holds an LLM degree in international legal studies from the American University Washington College of Law, with a specialisation in international commercial arbitration and international commercial law. Mrs Valdez is certified in tax administration and taxpayer service in Latin America and Middle East Countries, by the Academy for International Business Officials, of the Ministry of Commerce, Beijing. She recently completed a postgraduate course in tax administration from the Inter-American Center of Tax Administrations in Panama City.
