is a Senior Associate in Matouk Bassiouny & Hennawy’s Finance and Projects Group. Nadia has worked on a number of high-profile transactions collectively implementing the Egyptian Government’s economic reform agenda, including investments in the fields of energy (renewable and non-renewable), upstream and downstream oil and gas, logistics infrastructure and aviation. Among the most notable of her contributions is her direct involvement on Egypt’s first nuclear power plant and renewable energy Feed-in Tariff programme (FiT), where she represented sponsors on the first successful debt-financed FiT project in Egypt. This paved the path for the second round of the programme in which Nadia represented sponsors on 16 out of a total of 30 projects, directing Egypt’s transformation towards becoming a regional energy hub. Nadia is also assisting clients on a number of related matters that will help set forth future investments in the space and facilitate Egypt’s participation in the contemporary global economy.
