About Tomomi Fukutomi

Tomomi Fukutomi is an attorney at Oh-Ebashi LPC & Partners licensed in Japan. She has extensive experience in M&A, including cross-border transactions, export control, sanctions and foreign direct investment (FDI) issues. Tomomi previously worked for the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry for more than two and a half years, where she served as a deputy director of the Trade and Economic Security Bureau. In this role, she supported the implementation and amendment of FDI and export control under the FEFTA. Tomomi has also supported the implementation and amendment of other relevant economic security regulations, including the Economic Security Promotion Act.
