is the head of the firm's fintech team. He specialises in financial institutions and payment services law, legal protection of information, new technologies law, as well as proceedings before the National Bank of Poland (NBP), the Polish Financial Supervision Authority (KNF) and the President of the Personal Data Protection Office. Jan is a legal expert at the PIU and FROB. He is a member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) and vice-president of the FinTech Committee of the PIIT. He participated in parliamentary work regarding the adaptation of Polish law to the GDPR and the implementation of the PSD2. He also participated in the work of the Task Force for the Development of Financial Innovations at the KNF, and the Task Force for Distributed Ledgers and Blockchain at the Ministry of Digital Affairs. He is a professor in the faculty of law at the Cracow University of Economics.
