C J Kim
is a founding partner of Choi & Kim, the leading maritime and insurance law firm in Korea. He has been involved in major matters involving maritime, insurance and cross-border litigation for over 30 years. He advised the IOPC Fund in the Hebei Sprit oil spill case, the largest oil spill case in Korean history, and served as the Chairman of the Inquiry Commission for the SEWOL ferry disaster. He also serves as a mediation commissioner for the Seoul High Court and an arbitrator for the Korean Commercial Arbitration Board. C J Kim served as the President of the Korea Insurance Law Association between 2015 and 2017.
