About M H Lim

M H Lim was a new face in the insurance law and maritime law sectors in South Korea when she joined Choi & Kim in 2022 as a US lawyer. After graduating from George Washington University Law School in 2021, she was admitted to the Washington, DC Bar. At Choi & Kim, she assists in drafting formal legal opinions and providing in-depth analyses of South Korean insurance law (eg, insurers’ exemptions based on the insured’s wilful negligence, application of the public authorities clause, subrogation issues) as well as maritime law (eg, charterparty disputes, cargo claims, shipowners’ obligations, limitation of liability).
