James Banda
is a seasoned international and domestic arbitrator with over 25 years of experience in dispute resolution. As a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb), former Chairperson of CIArb Zambia Branch, current CIArb Board member, former President of the SADC Lawyers’ Association and the Law Association of Zambia, and Director of the Lusaka International Arbitration Centre, he brings institutional leadership to arbitration development in Zambia. He specialises in construction and infrastructure disputes, applying international standard form contracts including FIDIC, JBCC and NEC in complex arbitrations across various sectors.
