About Maria Lianides Çelebi

Maria Lianides Çelebi is a senior partner and the head of the immigration department at Bener Law Office in Istanbul, Türkiye. Within the American Immigration Lawyers Association, Maria chaired the Global Migration Section (2011‒14, 2021‒22) and the Rome District Chapter (2008). She is the Türkiye member for the Alliance of Business Immigration Lawyers and past chair of Ius Laboris’ immigration international practice group. Maria has authored a White Paper and articles on US and Turkish immigration law and spoken at numerous international conferences. She is the recipient of the Rome District Chapter Ed Gudeon Memorial Service Award and has been a California Bar member since 1993.
