About Padmini Bheekharry

Padmini Bheekharry is a senior associate at Eversheds Sutherland (Mauritius) and a qualified barrister with extensive tax expertise. She began her career at the Mauritius Revenue Authority before serving as an adviser at the Ministry of Finance, where she headed the Legal Affairs Unit. She also practised at a first-tier law firm, further deepening her legal and tax acumen. Her practice spans taxation, tax controversy and resolution, international tax, employment, and mergers and acquisitions. Padmini holds an Advanced Diploma in International Taxation (ADIT) and earned her law degree from the University of Mauritius.
