Bogdan has an LLM in International Legal Studies from the American University, Washington College of Law, and a specialisation in intellectual property law from the same university. Bogdan has a broad practice covering IP, media and life sciences, data protection and privacy issues. He has contributed to leading intellectual property and data protection outlets, including The IP Kat, the 1709 Blog, IPPro The Internet, ECTA Daily Bulletin, and Practical Law, and authored a chapter in the “IP and the Internet”, published by the Belgrade University Law School. He is an editor and major contributor to BDK’s blogs on data protection and intellectual property. Bogdan had spent 12 years working as a human rights researcher and lawyer for Human Rights Watch and the International Centre for Transitional Justice.
