About Onyinyechi Chima

Onyinyechi Chima is a senior associate in ǼLEX’s corporate and commercial and mergers and acquisitions practice groups. She advises development finance institutions, private equity firms and multinational companies on complex domestic and cross-border transactions, including share and asset acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate restructurings and group reorganisations. Her work often involves conducting legal due diligence, drafting and negotiating transaction documents, and advising on regulatory compliance and corporate governance matters. Onyinyechi also provides strategic counsel on investment structuring, exit planning and foreign participation in Nigerian businesses. She is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association’s Section on Business Law and the International Bar Association.
