is a partner who specialises in charter-parties and carriage of goods by sea disputes, liability of classification societies, shipbuilding contracts, ship sale and purchase, and ship finance. His expertise extends to all matters regarding the international sale of commodities. The main focus of Lawrence’s practice is on English law-related matters and disputes, as well as comparative law and international private law issues. He is a member of the Inner Temple, the Genoa Bar and AIDIM. In October 2008 Lawrence moved to London to study English law, obtaining the Graduate Diploma in Law at City University and then completing the Bar Vocational Course. He was admitted to the Italian Bar in 2010, as a member of the Genoa Bar, and was called to the English Bar shortly after. Lawrence speaks Italian, English and Spanish.
