is the former senior partner of Maples and Calder (now Maples Group). He is the senior partner in the Cayman Islands practice and is an expert in all forms of offshore structuring. He is the architect of legislation governing key financial services in the Cayman Islands, including the Exempted Limited Partnership Law and the Mutual Funds Law, which form the foundation for investment funds in the Cayman Islands. Anthony also prepared the Fraudulent Disposition Law and the Stock Exchange Law and has served as chairman of the exchange from its inception. As a member of the Financial Services Council, he has advised the government on other legislative initiatives, and he has also served as president of the Cayman Islands Law Society and chairman of Cayman Finance.
