Malek Al Rifai is a partner in the Dubai office of King & Spalding LLP where he leads the Middle East real estate and hospitality practice. He has a diverse multidisciplinary practice and has represented developers, REITs, banks, private equity fund sponsors, family offices and institutional investors in real estate transactions across the GCC. His experience includes direct and indirect real estate acquisitions across all types of property (including hospitality and industrial assets), development, hotel management transactions, capital market and financing transactions involving real estate, representation of investors and real estate funds in connection with the formation of joint ventures, and turnaround of distressed off-plan projects.
