About José J. Colón García

José J. Colón García is a member of the litigation department at O’Neill & Borges, where he represents plaintiffs and defendants in commercial, construction, cross-border, insurance coverage, and arbitration disputes, as well as appellate matters before the Puerto Rico courts and the US Court of Appeals for the First Circuit. He focuses on dispositive motions, appeals, and strategic litigation analysis in high-stakes cases. Before joining the firm, José clerked for Chief Justice Maite D. Oronoz Rodríguez of the Puerto Rico Supreme Court, an experience that sharpened his appellate advocacy and continues to guide his approach to complex legal questions.
