About Cees Dekker

Cees Dekker is an advocaat, admitted to the Amsterdam and Brussels bars (EU-list), with over 30 years of experience advising on all aspects of EU and Dutch competition law. Cees joined Simmons & Simmons as a consultant in 2022 after many years as a partner in another law firm. Cees has assisted and advised companies and industry associations in more than 30 cartel investigations, including dawn raids, by the Dutch Competition Authority (of which he was the first head of the legal department) and the European Commission, and has litigated before the EU and Dutch courts.
