About Richard Williams

Richard Williams is a partner and head of the Freeths banking and finance team in London. He advises a number of lender and borrower clients on their financing arrangements. In particular, Richard covers both investment and development real estate finance across the hospitality sector. Most recently he has acted for a global non-bank debt fund on its investment financing of a portfolio of six destination spa and leisure hotels in England & Wales with a strong events and weddings focus. Richard is also experienced in acquisition and structured finance matters, additionally covering interest rate hedging documentation and Sharia-compliant financing arrangements.
