About Ali Kabir Shah

Ali Kabir Shah is a partner at Ali & Associates. He specialises in both contentious and non-contentious matters pertaining to IP, media, IT, licensing and franchising and competition law. He has appeared in cases before the high courts, intellectual property tribunals, the Competition Commission and the Competition Appellate Tribunal as well as intellectual property offices. As the former International vice president of the Asian Patent Attorneys' Association (APAA), Asia’s largest IP Association, Mr Shah has also garnered international recognition for his significant contributions to the field. Mr Shah has also co-authored a manual on the evolution of intellectual property laws and is a regular contributor to many international publications.
