About Hanya Haroon

Hanya Haroon joined Ali & Associates in 2013 and has since established a strong reputation as a corporate/trial lawyer, specialising in IP law and brand enforcement, media and technology, cybercrime, competition and company law and related commercial matters. Ms Haroon is also an Accredited Mediator, actively engaged in mediation and arbitration proceedings. Ms Haroon also leads the anti-counterfeit practice, in addition to actively appearing before the high courts, IP tribunals, the Competition Commission, customs (directorates, tribunals and appellate courts), and the Drug Regulatory Authority, amongst others. Ms Haroon has also co-authored a manual on the evolution of intellectual property laws and is a regular contributor to many international publications.
