About Anita Bell

Anita Bell is a principal associate in Freshfields’ disputes practice in Düsseldorf, specialising in product liability, product safety and mass claims. She advises clients on liability risks arising from complex civil proceedings and represents them before the courts, including in proceedings involving multiple claimants and defendants. She is co-publisher of the Zeitschrift für Product Compliance (ZfPC, Nomos Verlag) and co-author of a formulary on product compliance. She publishes and speaks on EU product liability and product safety law, with a focus on AI liability and the EU Product Liability Directive.
