Dámaris Engelschman is a Dutch senior associate in the finance team in Freshfields’ Amsterdam office. She has a strong track record in structured finance and general banking and finance, enabling her to advise on complex, cross-over mandates. Dámaris regularly advises both Dutch and international clients on cross-border transactions, including deals involving the UK, Luxembourg, Germany and the USA. Clients value her clear, pragmatic advice, strong analytical skills and ability to integrate seamlessly with their legal and commercial teams. Dámaris gained in-house experience through a secondment to a Dutch mortgage provider, working on a funding solutions.
