About Timothy Howard

Timothy Howard is a partner who focuses on data privacy, security and artificial intelligence advisory issues, data incident crisis management, including regulatory response and the intersection of white collar and data issues. Timothy joined Freshfields from the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York, where he served as chief of the complex frauds and cybercrime unit and as a member of the DOJ National Ransomware Taskforce. He was also detailed to the National Security Division, where he coordinated the national program of investigations into nation-state sponsored cyberattacks across all US Attorney’s Offices.
