Luz Díaz Rodríguez
is the head of criminal practice at Medina Garrigó and a nationally recognised criminal attorney who has been involved in complex white-collar litigation. Luz Díaz has vast experience with both regulators and enforcement authorities and successfully participated in the most important cases of bank fraud as well as those of financial and security market fraud of the last decade, representing the Monetary Authority in addition to high-level executives from financial entities. She acted in the largest corruption investigation in the history of the Dominican Republic with a successful outcome for her client. She has handled multi-regulator and multi-forum investigations and litigation, as well as the collateral issues that come with them, including internal and regulatory investigations and crisis management. Luz Díaz has also been a professor at the National School for Prosecutors since 2005, teaching litigation technique and strategic litigation, among other topics.
