About Miguel Duarte Santos

Miguel Duarte Santos has been a professional partner of SPS-Barrilero since 2024 and has more than ten years of experience in the insurance sector. He has a postgraduate degree in the area of banking and insurance from the Faculty of Law at the University of Lisbon (2015), completed a course on “MiFID II/MIFIR” from the Florence School of Banking & Finance (2019), and is preparing a master’s thesis at the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon on “Unit Linked Insurance”. His areas of specialisation include financial regulatory law/financial compliance and consultancy in insurance law, pension funds, banking, markets and financial instruments.
