About Pedro Malta da Silveira

Pedro Malta da Silveira is the founding partner of SPS-Barrilero. With extensive experience in litigation and arbitration, he has played an active role as a lawyer and arbitrator in insurance, banking, financial, corporate and commercial law since 1991. Throughout his career as a lawyer, he has provided legal advice to banks and insurance companies, acting in national and international litigation and developing specialised advice in both insurance law and banking. He has experience as an in-house lawyer for companies linked to financial activity (1989–1996), assistant professor of Civil Law and Commercial Law at the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon, and professor in postgraduate courses.
