About Mario Sol Muntañola

Mario Sol Muntañola is the managing partner of Sol Muntañola Abogados. He combines his professional activity with research and teaching in the field of intellectual property. He has been an associate professor at the University of Barcelona and the Universitat Oberta of Catalonia. Since 1998 he has taught at the ESADE Law School (Ramón Llull University of Barcelona) first as a professor of intellectual property and later as director of the IT+IP Master’s programme. His experience has led him to specialise in arbitration, and since 1999 he has been a member of the group of experts at the World Intellectual Property Organisation’s Mediation and Arbitration Centre and an arbitrator at ARBITEC (Spain).
