About Etigwe Uwa

Etigwe Uwa is a partner at Streamsowers & Kӧhn. He was appointed to the Nigerian Bar in 1990 and was awarded the rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) in 2010. He led a team of lawyers, representing the victims of the Pfizer Trovan clinical drug trial in Kano, Nigeria in Abdullahi v Pfizer 2005 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 16126 (S.D.N.Y.), which went up to the Supreme Court of the United States before a settlement was achieved. He also pioneered a securities class action in Nigeria for subscribers to the First Bank Plc Hybrid public offer of 2007.
