About David A. Sussman

David A. Sussman is a corporate partner, chairs Duane Morris’s investment funds practice, is managing partner of the North Jersey office, and serves on the firm’s partners board. His practice focuses on private equity, counselling sponsors on fund offerings; terms and negotiations with institutional and HNWI investors; investments, dispositions and secondaries. He serves as lead US tax counsel structuring private equity funds, hedge funds, real estate funds and venture capital funds, advising on portfolio investment strategies, maximising investor returns on a net basis, and carried interest issues. His clients include companies in the education, financial services and real estate sectors.
